But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a spirit;" and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, "Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid." And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And He said, "Come." And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. (Matthew 14:22) I Am looking for a people who will dare get out of the boat and come to Me walking on the water. Some of My people have already begun to venture out! Others are contemplating the pros and cons of walking on water-- counting the cost. While others have said, "No thanks! I believe I will remain in the safety of the boat." Walking on the water takes much concentration and discipline! You must keep your eyes fixed firmly on Me. Those who walk on the water must not allow themselves to be distracted by the wind, the waves, or even the voices of those who remain in the boat. This is difficult for the flesh, but possible by grace. Truly,
those who dare to walk on the water will have a greater revelation of who
I Am. They will not only know me as savior and deliverer, but as the God
in whom all things are possible; the improbable-- probable and the
undoable--doable. I Am looking for a people through whom I may show My glory. Will you be that people? Will you be like Peter who risked it all to prove Me faithful? I Am looking for a people through whom My glory can be demonstrated. I challenge you! The world is waiting to see Me revealed in My people.
