Jesus,
come!
Walk upon the waters of my soul.
Say, "Peace be still!,"
To the waves that roll.
Just as you did on that sea
So very long ago.
Won't you stretch out your hand
As an act of grace and save
This sinking man,
Please grant me
Great faith to stand.
Lift
me up to look upon your beautiful face,
That countenance where unconditional love,
And untold glory radiates.
Sometimes I feel I've lost my way,
And don't always know the words to pray.
But
You are there,
In the silence--
My dearest friend,
Speaking peace
'Till all storms cease.
O
Master of the Sea,
Come and walk upon the waters of my soul,
As you did at Galilee,
And speak peace to the waves that roll
Bringing such tempest to my soul.
****************
Loved
one, you are highly favored.
Am I not your shepherd?
And have I not lead you into this valley
To lie down in green pastures?
Yet
you have thought it a place of barrenness,
but have I not said that the barren
Shall bring forth many children?
For out of this place I shall bring forth great fruitfulness.
Did
not Elkanah love Hannah more,
And provide double portions though she was barren?
And didn't her barrenness cause her to cry out
So she could bring forth Samuel, My prophet?
I
am pulling the veil back this day
To allow you to see into My plans and purposes.
Do not despair as this
Separation is for a purpose.
No
longer call this place barren,
But lift up your eyes and see,
I have laid you gently down
In a verdant, green pasture.
Now,
My child,
Allow Me to search your heart
Grant me access to the interior regions,
And rest while I probe those sensitive areas.
Even
though at times the process is painful,
Remember!
My purpose is to make the desert blossom,
And the desolate land a fertile field.
Grant
me open access to your heart,
And see what I will do.
Can you begin to trust Me
With your mind, will and emotions?
I
will resurrect many beautiful things that have died within you.
I will slay the noxious weeds,
Pull down the mountains--lift up the valleys--
And place everything in its proper order.
Then
I will breath a river of joy
Into the core of your being,
And the light of your city will shine outward
As a witness to all men.
