O Earth and All Creation,
How you groan!
As you await the manifestation of the sons of God.
You
listened to the prophets of old foretelling your liberation.
You witnessed God's only begotten Son birthed in a manger--
The Hope of unseen things revealed.
You
heard as the angels sang
And proclaimed great joy!
You, O Earth, joined in their song--
Knowing
now it would not be long....
For out of you came the tree,
From which came the cross.
You
trembled violently that day as the sun was darkened,
And there was silence for three days.
All creation waited in breathless anticipation--not a sound was
uttered.
You
bowed down and worshiped
As the stone was rolled away--
O what joy was yours that great and wonderful day.
Now
patiently you await the completion,
Knowing you too will be set free
By the Sons of Liberty.
