And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard
His word.  But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to
Him, and said, 'Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to
serve alone?  bid her therefore that she help me.  And Jesus answered
and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about
many things:  But one thing is needful: and May hath chosen that good
part, which shall not be taken away from her.  (Luke 10:38-42)

Lord, there is none like Thee,
My lover and my friend.
Thou art The Morning Star,
The beginning and the end.

Sing, O sing, O Israel,
Sing unto your King.
For He shall lift you up,
If you will only sing.

How many times I have waited for your praise to ascend,
For I desired to meet you.
How many times I have awaited you in the garden,
But you were taken away with the busyness of the day.

How fervently I have desired that you lay all aside,
And like Mary choose the better part for yourself.
Child, you have let the cares of the world rob you
Of My sweet fellowship.

I know the desire of your heart is to be with Me,
But you must appropriate the blood,
And put to death the desire of the man of sin.
Purpose daily to overcome!

Run to Me and your enemies will flee.
There is so much I wait to show you.
Seek My face and meet Me by grace,
In the secret place.
