where sunbeams play
amid the stones of fire

in peaceful pools where heaven and earth meet,
and angels do conspire.

Come follow the white dove
to a city whose foundation is love.
Where enthroned sits The Great King.

Called wonderful, faithful and true.
His an unending universal rule--
righteousness, peace and joy.

Hear the heavens sing of His glory.
Listen as stars spin creation's story--
fall redemption, and resurrection.

Witness a new order coming to birth;
Sons shall walk upon the earth--
lamb and lion--heaven and earth--kings and priests.

Come consider the path of the eagle,
amid the heights he finds quietness,
in isolation he surmounts.

Be not mired down by difficulties,
or the stirring unrest of the sea,
for this world's cares are weeds and tares.

These overwhelm and fragment the soul
'till peace cannot be found,
and joy no longer gathered.

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth!
Escape the scorching heat.
Soar to the realm of freedom.

Save your life from death.
Go as high as you can--
stay as long as possible
