I was just asking God what it was that He wanted me to minister on as I know that the Lord Jesus in me is full of knowledge and light. Somehow, as I watch many of God’s little saints struggle with overcoming sin. I know that each one of us are in a progressive journey to become in the image of our Lord and Savior. We struggle with the two realms which are called the realm of the “legal” and the realm of the “experiential”- meaning “How do I walk that out God!”. All of God’s promises the Word says are “Yeh and Amen”. Then why am I not experiencing them? Why am I having such a hard time overcoming what I don’t want to do and be and entering into the already perfected realm of having become all that God says about me. First
of all we need to understand these two realms.
The realm of the legal aspect of our salvation and all of
God’s promise verses the experiential realm, the realm where everything
that God has promised must be made a reality.
The legal realm is the
realm of where God spoke things before the foundations of the earth.
They were created words spoken into the heavens and
spiritual realms even before he began to create the natural realm. God
did not have to go get a saw and a hammer and nail, he did not have to
get a ruler or a shovel to begin to “build/create” the earthly
realm and the universe. He
simply
drew up his “blue print” for all ages, put his stamp of approval
upon it and called it good. Then
he began to take each piece of that blue print and to speak it into
existence. He actually
created it out of nothing but what was already inside of himself.
That
is hard for us to understand since every time we begin to try to make
anything, as human beings, we must have something to start with.
If we build a house, we first must have to
have lumber, etc. But God has the power to simply speak something into
existence and it is formed and put into place by his divine power. God
has spoken promises that cover every aspect of our lives while we are
living here They were put into place, but to a carnal
mind who only comprehends everything from a realm where we are
overwhelmed by our needs. We struggle to understand if God has promised them, WHY am I
not experiencing
them. Why is it so hard
to understand the Bible and how to walk out what he has promised. We
need to understand that Adam and Eve before the Fall lived in the
heavenly realm of all of God promises being “yeh and amen” without
any struggle at all. They
know nothing of the curse.
They only know that if they had a need, that God was there to
see to it that before they even ask him it was fulfilled.
He
loved them, they were his creation.
He not only was their creator and redeemer, but was the
engineer that ran the whole thing perfectly because he created them to
exist in this perfect environment where everything worked as it should
work. No sickness, no
needs unfulfilled, no lack, no depression, no financial need, no
hunger, no fear of old age (for their bodies were created to live
forever). This is what
existed in this perfect realm. Now,
they were created innocent, never having experienced even
the temptation of evil until one day in the garden they had a visitor
called Lucifer, the deceiver. You
know how he came
with the twisting of truth in order to deceive the innocent and it
worked because there was not built inside of Eve the capacity of
discernment. You don’t
need discernment in a perfect society and environment. So because of this she allowed
Lucifer to lead her to do something that God had said she was not to
do and that was to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
that was in the Garden. They
had been eating of the Tree of Life and living by the eternal life
flowing from the fruit of that Tree.
But once they disobeyed
God, they had to be removed from the Garden, God’s Paradise where
there was the Tree of Life. Their disobedience has permitted Satan to
get access into their realm and to bring death to them. God
did not want them because of his mercy to eat from the Tree of Life
any longer. Because of their state of death into which they had
entered because of disobedience, they would have lived forever in that
body that was continuing to decay and die. So immediately, their bodies began to die because that was the package that Satan had given them through deceit – the package of death in the body caused by the death in the spiritual realm (that is no longer able to have the fellowship with God). Instead they began to fear and doubt God and cover themselves with leaves- which symbolizes man’s own covering
for sin. Now
God told Adam to slay an animal and to remove the leaves and to cover
himself with the skin of an animal which was a slaying of a substitute
sacrifice (until Jesus came) in order to restore them back to
fellowship to Himself. Now
there was not any longer just one realm- paradise- but two realms- the
realm where through the substitute sacrifice they could access God’s
fellowship, but they were also having to contend with the realm into
which they had fallen where the curse of Satan, the prince of the
power of the air was given access.
That is called the worldly, carnal realm into which each of us
is born as a result of satan’s sin.
When Jesus came, he was made the perfect sacrifice and by his
substitute atonement, if we accept that atonement, we are given access
again to his presence in our lives.
We are admonished in Scripture that we are to live in that
realm – the SPIRIT- and by doing so, we will be given power to
overcome the lower canal realm of the sins of the world, the sins
flesh and the self will ( or ie., lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes
and the pride of life). The
realm of the Spirit is where all of God’s promises are.
As born again children of God we are to bring those promises
from the spirit realm down to the earthly realm (the experiential
realm) where we are walking, but also where we have been given
authority and dominion through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Please feel free to access Jeanene’s
