Repentance for America

Our forefathers created one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. These were men of high ideals, spiritually guided and inspired to create a nation and a civilization to be admired and respected, to set an example for the rest of the world. Under God’s guidance and direction, they created a Constitution and a Bill of Rights for every man, woman and child to live in freedom in the pursuit of happiness. Yet, these high-minded and spiritual men were soon replaced by others who chose to put their egos before God and to joust with God’s plan. We became a nation of spoilers, man against man, brother against brother, government against citizens. We have become a nation of criminals and murderers...We murder the innocent. We murder our children. Our leaders create laws to justify the murders, to rewrite morals and ethics to support their own earthbound greed and desires. We have become a nation further and further from the spirit and influence of God that not only refuse to recognize the spiritual nature of man himself, but refuse to recognize even the existence of God. We have taken You and Your works of prayer and meditation out of our government, out of our institutions, out of our schools. We have done everything we can to deny Your existence, and we find ourselves in a world filled with war, hatred, starvation and death. We are a nation at war with itself, filled with hatred, prejudice, crime, drugs, and murder, and we do not understand why the rest of the world does not follow our shining example.

· Lord, I come into agreement with your intercessors and with what you have spoken from the mouth of your prophets that your will be done in our lives, in the life of this nation, and even in the lives of our enemies

· I ask you to forgive us for allowing darkness to take over thrones of this nation

· I ask your forgiveness, O Lord, in all these ways we have failed You

· God, please forgive me for my part in the sins of this nation, and through me send your forgiveness into the nation itself. Please spread among the people the consciousness of our own sins and unworthiness, and grant us desire to turn to you

· Please illumine the minds of our leaders, showing them the mistakes they are making, and guide this nation into the way of life

· May our leaders who honestly want to do right be guided and supported by the Holy Spirit

· I pray for protection from dangers and sufferings because of our sins

· I thank you for your angels of war that are stationed to guard this land

· I thank you for your protection for you alone cause us to dwell in safety

· May your streams of healing flow once again like mighty rivers from your throne into our lives, into our hearts, into our homes, our churches, and the streets we walk upon

· Come, Lord Jesus. I invite You and welcome Your ministry and your ministering angels into our midst

·  I call for Your great mercy to flow over America once again

· You have been good to us, Lord, You have been our help in the times of trouble and shelter during the storms

· Many times You have healed, delivered, rescued us and set us on high

· America has many enemies who are plotting her destruction from without and within

· But this is not Your will or intent, and In the mighty name of Jesus I declare America is not appointed to destruction

· I pray for the righteous to rise and rule in this nation and in the earth

· The Earth is Yours, Lord, and the fullness there of, and all those who dwell there in

· I stand in the gap right now for Your Name’s sake, Lord, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done

· Let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous

· I pray that the wicked will be shaken out of this nation and swept out of the Earth

· I decree in the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ that evil structures and institutions will be shaken and fall

· Cut off the strength of the wicked, but increase the power of the Godly in this nation and upon this Earth

· I declare that Washington DC belongs to the Most High God

· Bring forth the rule of the righteous in America

· Lord, the unrighteous now rule our nation, but I cry out to You, O God, who are able to do all things in signs, wonders and even deep miracles of the heart; to take from them the reins of power

· Cut off the strength of the wicked, but increase the power of the Godly

· I pray for the Congress, Senate, the Supreme Court and every justice system, and declare that your Kingdom reigns over them

· I ask that you pull down those who unjustly and unrighteously hold positions of power, Lord

· Uproot those who usurp positions of authority and use them for evil purposes· 

· Lord, remove those who are sitting in seats that belong to Godly Christians

· Pull them down and replace them with Godly people who will do what is right and lead our nation in the path of righteousness, peace and Godly honor in every area and level of government


· I declare the ungodly will vacate their seats on the Supreme Court and in the Congress, and hand them over to godly men and women who will lead and take this nation the correct way

· Satan, you will not take this nation down to the pit

· You will not fulfill the demonic destiny that you have been planning for years, to take over the political process, and to force God out of this nation to hand it over to the Antichrist

· You will not have your way over America

· But there will be righteousness come forth out of our capital

· Where there has been a well of filthiness, sorcery and hidden things, they will be uncovered and cleansed

· Godly men and women will be placed into key political positions to lead this nation in the coming days in the battle of light against darkness on this planet
 
· There will be soldiers of light placed in those chairs, benches and those judicial seats, by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ
 
· They will make decisions that please the Lord God of Heaven that he may bless this nation and not curse it

· Lord God, return the mischief of America’s enemies upon their own head—let their violence return upon their own plate

· I pray for our President, his Advisors and Cabinet members--turn their hearts to righteousness and to do justice.  Open their eyes to truth and grant them hearts to embrace the ways of the living God

· Lord I ask you to place in positions of authority those who will run this nation according to Your word, ways and by Your Spirit

· I ask for men and women that are so dedicated to You that they won't veer left or right; and they can't be bought for a bribe 

· Turn America’s heart to You once again, O Lord, and cause her people to shake themselves free from the filth

· Call this nation to You, for blessed are those whom You call to approach You, O God

 ·We need Your help!

· Make us a nation that hungers and thirsts after You and cause us to delight in Your ways once again, O Lord

· Lord, cause America to be a witness and a light to the nations again restore her beautiful silvery wings and feathers spotted with gold

· I declare blessings on Israel, blessings on Washington DC, and the United States and its people

· And blessings on all those in every nation of the world who walk in Your ways and follow hard and close after You

· Send prophets to the capital, Lord, open up prophetic prayer meetings in our cities

 · Blessed God, place it in the hearts of multitudes of intercessors and people in this nation to cry for your intervention in the political process

· Raise up an intercessory army to stand before You night and day that we may prevail in prayer orchestrated by Your Spirit, Lord.
   
· Whatever it takes to move you, O God, to intervene on behalf of America, I pray You will supply it
 
· Oh dear Lord, we ask you to have mercy on our nation, on our children, on our blindness, on our stupidity as a people that we have allowed evil men to rule over us
 
· Come now and lead us down a path that will bring good fruit to this nation. 

· For this nation is intended to run on God

· The founding fathers never dreamed the Government would be used to rule against the nation in this way
 
· The enemy has moved in secular humanists and liberal activists, and taken over our very process and is using it against us to kill us

· But the nation rejoices when righteousness reigns, O Lord 

· Bring back a righteous standard. Bring back decency
 
· We have become so hardened with sin, I pray, bring conviction back, and may the spirit of repentance sweep across this nation

· Bring shame to the ultra left that has gone so far, reach in and save them
 
· May their influence over the minds and hearts of the children and people of this nation be nullified

· I call upon you, Lord, You say we have not, because we ask not

· I ask for many Godly young and old to be called into the political arena and anointed to affect the destiny of our nation for good

· Send us fire, Lord! Send us rain!

· I pray, Spirit of fire, baptism of fire, return to our land again; and baptize our young and old men and women so they will prophesy and see visions and dream dreams.

 Come and baptize even the Islamic youth of this nation so they cry Yeshua … not Allah! 

· Drive rebellion from this land. Drive rebellion from the White House, the congress, and the courts of this land

· Raise up multitudes of acts of kindness this day to counterbalance the opposite forces
 
· May Your Kingdom of grace and glory come quickly, Lord, and swallow up the kingdoms of this earth

· I pray for the day when the uttermost parts of the earth will come under the dominion and possession of the Lord Jesus Christ

· I pray for the day when all kingdoms will bow before Jesus, and all nations will serve Him

· I pray for the day when the mountain of the Lord’s house, His government of Kings and Priests, will be established everywhere.
· I pray for the day when the fullness of the gentiles will come in and all Israel will be saved

Come, Lord Jesus, and blow Your breath into our households.  Blow Your breath into the nostrils of every family member, Great-grandparents down to the babies in the womb.  Come and make personal house calls in this nation.  Release Your angels to set up camp round about our dwelling places, to deliver family members far and near.  Restore our families.  Cause the prodigals to come home.  You have been patient in the past with our family members who have resisted You.  But now come in with great power!  Come into every household in America, O Holy Spirit, and save.
