I Am not the God of the north, south, east or west,
but I Am near.
I Am not only God of the past,
but the God of today!
Remember, dear one, My mercies are new every morning
It matters not the trials and tribulation you faced yesterday,
as today I make all things new.
All your today's and tomorrows are in My hands.
Everything that touches your life has divine purpose,
that purpose is to develop, purify, mature,
and beautify My Bride,
to fashion without spot or wrinkle, (Eph 5:27)
as surely, the King desires your beauty. (Psalms 45:11)
For this reason it is written,
"...Count it all joy...." (Jas 1:2)
Authentic faith is revealed in the furnace of affliction,
and "...faith without works is dead..." (Jas 2:20)
Can your faith endure the fire?
Can you declare with Job,
"....The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away,
blessed be the name of the Lord."? (Job 1:21)
Will you sing praises to my magnificient name
in the midst of firey trials,
when present circumstances
thrust you into your darkest hour?
Will your faith overcome
when men revile,
falsely accuse,
and speak evil of you?
Can you reply, with My Son, "...Father, forgive them;
for they know not what they do...."? (Luke 23:34)
Will you worship with Paul and Silas
while suffering chains of affliction?
Will you worship with David
while dwelling in caves of barrenness?
This is where the quality of one's faith
is tested and revealed,
here I separate the wheat from the chaff,
and consume wood, hay and stubble.
Now, truth is the foundation of faith,
and faith is the fruit of truth.
It matters not what the eye sees,
but what the heart knows.
The winds may blow,
fire consume,
and floods overtake,
but faith remains firmly anchored.
True faith cannot be shaken
for there are no shadows in faith's path
only revelation light,
and hope overcomes the thread of doubt.
This is the faith that moves mountains.
Five thousand were fed
from five loaves and two fish (Matt 14:21)
creating substance from hope.
Daniel trusted while in the lion's den,
his faith did not waiver
all that long night.
How his deliverance astonished kings and men!
Peter, though he possessed it,
when sifted like wheat,
his faith that day,
failed the test to meet.
David faced Goliath
with only a sling,
and stones that were small,
yet he slew a giant exceedingly great and tall.
Remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego,
it was faith that inspired
them to trust their God,
and withstand a seven-times hotter fire.
The virtue of faith
opposes and invalidates natural laws,
for hope in the face of doubt
is the essence of faith that overcomes all.
"This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."
1 John 5:4
