Just as David had his Mighty Men, I yet have Mighty Men in the earth.
skilled in warfare with a heart to "support and extend" My Kingdom.
These possess, above all else, the heart of a hero, which is precious in My sight.
This a hidden treasure veiled until confronted by the face of evil on the appointed day.

On that day of destiny, the heart of a hero counts not the cost, but considers the lives of others above their own.  Truly, their sacrifice is an expression of the highest form of love--selfless love, which only issues from My throne.

My Mighty Ones display My glory and hold nothing back for the sake of establishing My Kingdom in the earth. Surely, they have hopes, dreams and ambitions, as do all men, but in the moment of gross darkness they offer all on the altar of sacrifice.

No man knows his own heart, nor the treasure hidden within, but heroes are revealed in the fire--the moment they come face to face with evil.  Heroes are the humble, who keep my commands--loving their neighbor as themselves.

Many look and see only the evil that stalks at noonday, but I see the hidden gems of My life within the heart.  I tell you truly, the hero's heart is a rare treasure.  In time the world may forget them, but I forget not.

Heroes are rarely the great men of the earth,
but you will find heroes cloaked in the form of ordinary men.
They quietly go about fulfilling destiny, and endeavoring to make the world a better place by overcoming the small, everyday challenges of life.
Tests that are sent to prepare them for the evil day
when the gems within their heart will be expressed through an act of heroism.

When Dark clouds gather
Catching innocents unaware,
And death collects many to the grave
Before they were prepared....

Yet know, evil did not have its fill
For heroes that day dared
To give away their years without fear
That many more lives would be spared

Remember the heroes of 911,
Remember the heroes of Virginia Tech.
Think about the heroes who are revealed every day,
Those whose deeds may never come to light,
But in heaven they are called a troop of  Mighty Men.
