I awoke this morning
To a bright new day,
And purposed in My heart
To Let You Have Your Way. 

I entered into Your chambers
And approached Your bed,
Then upon Your altar
I laid down My head.

You gave your life for Me--
Now I lay down my life for you,
How greatly grace abounds
Like the morning with its dew.

I look into Your eyes
Those pools of unending love,
Your lips drip with honey
The manna from above.

As I draw near to  you--
You draw near to me,
Your fragrance fills My senses
And the captive is set free.

Together we dance upon the clouds

To the rhythm of the Son,
And ecstasy transforms Me

As two become one.
